www.wcland.com  for Todd Baucom.  We set Todd up a year ago.  At the time, Todd had searched around locally for someone to create his own page. Todd sells all types of Real Estate.  However, his specialty is land listings.  Todd needed his own site to promote his unique expertise in land.   After meeting with a few web designers, he was quoted prices ranging from $1500 to $2500 for a simple site of 3-6 pages.  Todd is up and running now and at a fraction of the cost.  He is able to create pages, add listings, update photos and descriptions.  Todd is not a computer expert.  As part of the set up, we taught Todd how to effectively use the site to acheive his goals.  Since the set up, Todd has not had any problems and his web traffic steadily increases as he adds more listings and his site becomes more established on the web as a place to find land listings in WNC.

www.wcrentals.com  (my site and Realty Business).  This is where it all started.  It originally was yellow and red  - very hard to look at.   After much research and trial/error, this site emerged.  The "bounce" rate (or rate by which visitors quickly click away from the site) was almost immediately cut in half once the clean site was implemented.  In it's second year, this site now boasts over 1300 visitors and 12000 page views a month.  Visitors to the site stay for 5 minutes on average and the bounce rate is at a very low rate of 20% (meaning 4 out of 5 visitors who come to the site stay and look around a while).  Impressive stats for a young small business in a rural area.

http://www.leedbear.com/  for Michelle Masta.  Michelle asked me to create a website for her new startup LeedsandGreenMaterials.com after going visiting with a large web developer in Franklin and was quoted a starting price of $7500-$11000 for what she wanted.  Michelle needed to be able to create listings and pages without having to pay a web developer every time a change needed to be made.  Also, the site needed to be scalable so that as the business grew, the website could easily handle the growth.  It made sense to create the site in PHP instead of the traditional HTML.  Instead of hiring an expensive programmer and meeting with them over a long period of time to create the site, we re-engineered our existing PHP database to meet Michelle's needs.  We copied the clean look of www.wcrentals.com and Michelle has been very pleased with the results.

www.wncautos.com is our current pet project.  We will now customize the database to handle car listings.  It is yet to be determined if we will sell the site to a medium sized used car dealer or if we will utilize the site as a portal for local dealers to sell their cars.
